My father in law is on holiday - staying in our house in Cyprus.
We have a CY payg phone over there for him to use, but not being too
'techie', I'm not sure he'll be able to switch it on!
I told him that if there was a problem, to call us using his Orange PAYG
phone.
He then told me that the tenner that he put on it last year was 'nearly run
out'
Is there a way I can (should the need arise) remotely top up his account
without his 'user name and password'?

1) Buy swipe card
2) Text him the number of the swipe card and the number to register it
(I'm sure it's a free call)
3) Go in a shop and top up with swipe card
alternatively, you can top up phones from cash machines, you just need
the phone number.

Now, that *does* sound simple.

Register a swipe card to his number and then use it to top up with. Or
get him to communicate to you his existing top-up swipe card number.

They are free.

If he's in Cyprus? Not sure but wouldn't want to bet on it.

450 is free on Orange PAYG if you're out of credit, even if you're roaming.

Thanks all for your help, but he's managed to switch on the CY PAYG phone,
so, fingers crossed, problem avoided!
