I have an HTC Touch from U.S. Cellular. I don't get good service because of where I live, so I switched networks and got a new phone. The problem is U.S. Cellular will not unlock my phone so someone else can use it with U.S. Cellular. How can I get this phone unlocked from my old account so that someone else can use it with U.S. Cellular?

Re: Unlock U.S. Cellular HTC Touch
Pay your bill? Locking and unlocking isn't the same on a CDMA carrier as it is on GSM. As long as you get the 6-digit programming code, another carrier MIGHT be willing to use it (as long as they are CDMA also).
If you switched to AT&T, T-Mobile, or other GSM carrier, forget it. The Touch does not have the right radio to work with those carriers.
