Hi everyone. New member and first post - thanks for having me.
I have done a little research, but am still not sure about something that perhaps you all can help me with.
I was considering buying the Blackberry Curve to replace my current phone (6yr old Audiovox). I have a 9 year old Ipaq Pocket PC that I bought during medical school, but it died on me. I was about to replace it, but thought I would knock out 2 birds with one stone, and buy a blackberry.
I was leaning towards the Curve because of the reasonable price, but was wondering if I could use the programs that are on my Ipaq - mainly medical text books, medical calculator, flash metronome, etc., that all work on pocket pc OS. Will they work on a blackberry?
Thanks, and sorry for the noob question. I can be pretty dense when it comes to electronics/gadgets.
Regards,
Francisco

Re: Noob question about Blackberry
No, unfortunately pocket PC apps are not compatible with the Curve, mainly because of the different OS, and those apps for your Ipaq are made for a touchscreen as well. Most likely you will have to repurchase those apps from like Handango, where the probably have comparable Blackberry versions of the software you seek.
