Blank screen on Blackberry 8700g unlocked
My phone was locked and I forgot the password. I tried to open it but it only allowed me 5 attempts. Now the display is blank except for a small icon with 507 beneath it. The icon is rectangular with a circle, square, and a triangle inside of it. Surrounding it is a circle with a slash through it. Sort of like a no smoking sign has. Beneath that is the numerals 507. Can anyone tell me how to proceed? Thanks for the feedback. TrackRat

the 507 means the software is corrupt.
install the blackberry desktop manager software and it will re-install the OS in your phone.
