Now available as public beta, the Edocrab, a free barcode scanner for BlackBerry, lets you scan items with barcodes with your camera. The Edocrab is supported with ads,but shouldn't get in the way of using the app. As you will notice, edocrab *****ed backwards is barcode. The app is a Free app for the BlackBerry and will allow you to get online price comparisons, reviews, product images and more. History of searched items can also be found.
The BlackBerry devices that have the auto focus capability seemed to work better with Edocrab, but by using the manual search options, it can also be used with phones that don’t have auto-focus.
