I currently have VERIZON and I've been wanting a BlackBerry for the longest time, but I don't want to pay for the internet. My contract is up and I'm thinking about switching since I would have to pay for the data plan with Verizon.
I talked to Centennial and they said that if I bought a BlackBerry from eBay or somewhere other than Centennial I would be able to activate it and not have an internet plan, which is what I want.
HOWEVER, AT&T is taking Centennial over January 24th and I would need to get all this done before then. Is it possible? Is the one I would have to buy off eBay or Amazon gonna have to be an unlocked one? I don't know how to unlock them or anything...
Another question: If i had WiFi on my blackberry curve, would i have to pay for the 30 dollar data plan? I heard the BlackBerry 8330 (somethin like that) has wifi.
I just need help.
