News: BlackBerry Pearl 3G Smartphone for Telstra

RIM has just announced the BlackBerry Pearl 3G for Telstra Australia and reports that it should be launching soon. The Telstra version of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G will have a SureType QWERTY keyboard instead of the normal, regular alphanumeric one as Vodafone UK's version.

Other features include: HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 360 x 400 pixels display, BlackBerry Messenger, BlackBerry Maps, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, dedicated music keys, 3.2MP autofocus camera, and a 624MHz processor.

The two colors that will be available are 'piano black' and 'royal purple' and will be coming later on this month. Price of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G has not been mentioned.
