News: BlackBerry Torch gets a successor....BlackBerry Torch 2

It looks as if the BlackBerry Torch will soon get a successor..the BlackBerry Torch 2. As you can see in the picture, it looks just like the original BlackBerry Torch except with a silver finish.

Although the BlackBerry Torch 2 looks a lot like the original Torch, a lot of upgrades have taken place for the successor, such as: 1.2 GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB built in storage, 5MP camera with flash, NFC support, GPS, Bluetooth, tri-band HSPA 14.4 Mbps, quad-band GSM, a 3.2-inch VGA (640×480) capacitive touchscreen, and a 1300 mAh battery.

BlackBerry OS 6.1 will be present on the Torch 2 and is 14.6 mm thick. AT&T is the said to be the carrier of the BlackBerry Torch 2 and will be launched in the third quarter of 2011.
