Adding a POP/IMAP Email Account

Before you start the process of adding a POP or IMAP account, you should have the following information from your email service provider:

• messaging server type – either POP or IMAP
• the address of the incoming and outgoing messaging server
• the port numbers of the incoming and outgoing messaging server
• the SSL settings of the incoming and outgoing messaging server
• if push email is supported

Furthermore, if your work account is supported by the BlackBerry Enterprise Service, then you’re going to need to know your username, your enterprise activation password and your server name. If you know the aforementioned information, then you can proceed to adding the work email account:

1. From the Home screen, swipe down.
2. Tap Settings – tap Accounts -> tap Add account and select the type of email account you’d like to add, such as Work Account, if the account is supported by the BlackBerry Enterprise Service.
3. Then enter the necessary account information.
4. When ready, tap Next.

Note: After you’ve added the work account, your BlackBerry Z10 may ask you to set up a work space password which you could use with BlackBerry Balance and then to enter your work network password.
