Adding a Greeting/Name Tag

1. From the Home screen seelct All to get to the Applications panel.
2. Then select the Options icon.
3. Select Display -> Message on Lock Screen.
4. In the Display Owner Name field, enter the desired name, or skip this step.
5. In the Display Information field, enter the desired information, or skip this step.
6. Then press the Menu key and select Save.

Changing Your Theme

Note: The option to change a theme is only available if you had installed another theme to your BlackBerry 9315, otherwise you only have the preinstalled ‘BlackBerry 6 theme’. By following these instructions you’ll learn how to download and install a theme.

1. From the Home screen seelct All to get to the Applications panel.
2. Then select the Options icon.
3. Then select Display -> Screen Display -> Theme.
4. Then press the Menu key and select Download Themes and follow the on-screen prompts.
5. Once the download is finished, press the Menu key and select Save.

Changing Your Wallpaper

1. From the Home screen seelct All to get to the Applications panel.
2. Then select the Options icon.
3. Then select Display -> Home Screen Preferences and choose Change Wallpaper.
4. Then choose which image you’d like to set as wallpaper. When ready, press the Menu key and select Set As Wallpaper.

Deleting a Wallpaper

Note: Pre-installed wallpapers cannot be deleted.

1. From the Home screen seelct All to get to the Applications panel.
2. Then select the Media icon -> select the Pictures icon and choose the image that you’d like to delete.
3. Press the Menu key -> select Delete -> Delete.

Changing the Ringtone

1. From the Home screen seelct All to get to the Applications panel.
2. Then select the Options icon -> Sounds and Ring Tones -> Phone Ring Tone.
3. From the drop-down menu, choose the ringtone that you’d like to set and edit the other settings as well, if you want to.
4. Then press the Menu key -> select Save -> All Profiles or [current profile] Only.

Deleting a Ringtone

Note: You cannot delete pre-installed ringtones.

1. From the Home screen seelct All to get to the Applications panel.
2. Then select the Applications icon -> choose the Ring Tones & Alerts icon -> Ring Tones -> choose the ringtone that you’d like to delete.
3. Then press the Menu key -> Delete -> select Delete once more.
