Have you just purchased a BlackBerry Q10 and want to transfer your contracts from an old BlackBerry Bold, Curve or Torch to it? With the help of BlackBerry Link you can transfer your data to the Q10 (or even the Z10) in just a few easy steps! All you have to do is to:

  1. Download BlackBerry Link to your computer (it’s compatible with both Mac and Windows) -> then install the program.
  2. Using the USB cable, connect your old BlackBerry smartphone to your computer -> open BlackBerry Link and then click on the Transfer Data button to begin transferring your contacts, videos, photos or any other file you have stored on your older BlackBerry.
  3. Wait until all the data is copied from your previous device.
  4. When everything is copied, disconnect the old BlackBerry device and connect your Q10 to your computer using an USB cable.
  5. Now all you need to do is follow the on-screen instructions in order to import the files to the Q10.
  6. And that's it! You've successfully transferred your contacts!

Note: In case your contacts are stored on the SIM card, you need to transfer them to the memory of your old BlackBerry device, as BlackBerry Link only saves the data from the memory of the phone.
