Create a New Contact:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Launch “Contacts
  3. Tap the new contact icon “+” at the bottom
  4. Select an account to sync the contact with
  5. Enter the contact’s name, phone number, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
  6. Tap “Add new contact” check mark

Import Contacts:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Contacts
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Import / Export
  4. Select to “Import from SIM” or another location
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the process

Export Contacts:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Launch “Contacts
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Import / Export
  4. Select to “Export to storage” or a different location

Assign a Contact to Favorites:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Contacts
  3. Tap the desired contact
  4. Tap the “Star” icon to add the contact to favorites

Assign a Contact to Speed Dial via Direct Dial Widget:

  1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
  2. Go to “Widgets
  3. Tap and hold the “Direct Dial” widget, and drag and drop the widget in an empty area on the home screen
  4. At the prompt, select the contact you want to link with the Direct Dial widget

NOTE: You can add multiple Direct Dial widgets on the home screen, and you can organize widgets in folders on the home screen by dragging and dropping one Direct Dial widget on top of another.

Deleting Contacts:

  1. Launch “Contacts
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap the “trash can” icon to confirm

Create a New Caller Group:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Contacts
  3. Go to “Groups
  4. Tap the “New Group” icon at the bottom
  5. Select the account you want to use for syncing the group
  6. Enter the group’s name in the appropriate field
  7. If desired, add contacts to the group and tap “Done” when ready

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Open the apps drawer and launch “Contacts
  2. Tap “Groups
  3. Select the desired group
  4. Tap “Edit
  5. Tap “+” to view the contact list and select the desired contact (Alternatively, you can type the contact’s name and select the desired contact)
  6. Tap “Done” to complete the process
