Sync Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the BlackBerry device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
  3. Access the “Info” section and turn on “Sync Contacts With
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account if available
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. After the sync is complete, switch to the BlackBerry device and sign in with your Google account, and allow the account to sync contacts with your phone

Share Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Access “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  5. Once the vCard is downloaded, import it to “Google Contacts”, or instead:
  6. Connect the BlackBerry DTEK50 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use the “Contacts” app to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require access to a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup
  3. After the backup file is done, tap “Email
  4. Make sure the backup file is attached to the email, and send it to your own address
  5. Switch to the BlackBerry device and open the email
  6. Download the vCard file attachment and use “Contacts” to import its contents to your phonebook

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use for contact transfer is Send Anywhere. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the BlackBerry from the Google Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process
