I'm New...

Ok....this is all so confusing...I have a Motorola V551 and i am trying to get some ringtunes...the ones with the actual singing...I want California By Phantom Planet..I cannot find a good one anywhere....

I do not have any clue what kind of file i need even for the ringer...i am hoping someone can help me out... I am sooooooo not good with this...i use the phone but do not know how to work it...lol!

Also how long of a clip can the ringtune be? I need to know that so i know what part of the song..thanks for any help!!

nice to have you aboard shanna. Do you have a bluetooth usb adapter, by any chance? I konw your phone has the bluetooth capability, which will allow you transfer media to and from your phone. If not, you can purchase one at almost any computer/electronics store for about 30-40 dollars. Which will come out cheaper in the end, so you won't have to keep sending mms messages with a ringtone attatched.

I have the ringtone you're looking for already made. You're phone does allow mp3 ringers. So...if you want, check out my thread at the top..the mp3 requesting thread. In my first post, I have 3 links that have the majority of the ringtones I have made from waaay back. And, yes, the California ringtone is in the 1st set of ringtones.

urm...where Can i go to get this ringer...can i listen to it on here first to see if it is ok..they have one on the rogers site but it is so short! thanks for the help..i am clueless!

You do have a V551, dont you? Because I just did a quick check up on that phone and the specs say that it does have bluetooth.

I'm sorry...i know mine has it but i do not use it...i do not eve know what it is...lol...i was told it was some sort of headset or something..mine does have it but i did not buy whatever it was i needed to use it...i hope that makes sense!

Bluetooth gives you the option of having a wireless headset or to connect your phone to your computer to transfer files. Thats why I said that you needed to buy the Bluetooth USB adapter, if you dont have it already.

Unfortunatly i do not know anyone who has the same phone...or who has Bluetooth...I thought you could just tranfer stuff from the web or something..I have internet on my phone...is there anyway i can use that to get the ringer....thanks so much for all the help..I am so blonde!

try this website through your phone. It doesnt have that specific ringer, but it does have a bundle load of other ringers.
