What kind of phone do you have? What provider?
Bluetooth is a short range wireless connection. Using bluetooth would be an alternative to using a data cable. In this case you would need a bluetooth adapter for your computer. You can also use it for things like wireless headsets.

In order for you to transfer the tones from your computer to phone .... you need a bluetooth usb adapter on the computer. Most computers do not have the bluetooth capability right off the bat. Go to your local computer store and purchase a USB bluetooth adapter. Install and you'll be able to transfer between the computer and your phone.
