Ok - so I've got a MIDI ringtone, but I can't use it because it is saved as a WAV format sound. The programs I've tried seem to focus on matching different MIDI sounds with a Truetone til you get a good result. I just need to revert this ringtone from WAV back to MIDI. Any help? Any suggestions? Any takers even? Thx, Radji

i suggest just getting the tone as a midi from wherever you got the tone originally from.

I got the tone from a pay site by having Windows record the sound from my sound input as the ringtone preview played from the site.

Is there a way in Anvil Studio or any of the other MIDI programs to scan the audio file for recognizable MIDI tracks or instruments?
