If they are going to have pay as you go they should only round it to 30 seconds becasue even it you go on the phone for like 3 seconds you have to pay $1 well at least I do its a rip off.

pay as u go is only good if ur on the phone like once a day. 30 cents a minute is quite expensive if you make frequent calls.

it depends on you phone usage if you use the phone as your main sorce of calling then you would want to get a monthly plan and possably get a contaract with rogers and getting a beter phone then what you would then if you had to buy the phone outright then put it on the pay by phone. although i do agree with you on the fact that they should round your time however they are not going to start chargin for a 4 or 5 second call even at 5 seconds devided by .33 it comes to 2.5 cents i dont think that they would start charging for half cents and by that time you might as well have talked for another second caus they just ripped you off at roughly a half a cent a second at 33cents a min.
now if you buy an additonal package it migt be better than going monthly as well as you can pay 5 cents a min for evening and wheekends. although you do get that with monthly service as well.
the best way to find out if pay as you go is good for you buy a card of how much your monthly bill would be if you were on a plan probly around 35 dollars so you can buy either 30 or 40 dolars of phone time then see how long it lasts if you find that its going futher than one month then its somthing that you should continue using however if you find that you have to add time before then end of the moth you might be better off with a plan. In any case the final dision is up to you. you can take my opion as what you would like.

Pay go in general is only good for people who rarely use thier phones. If you use it a lot go and get a plan youll probaly be happier
