I don't get it, web access is very much depends on the service provider. Even if you go to other wap site you still have to pay for the air time and data charge. Whether it is free or not depends solely on Rogers since your phone has to use their network. I don't think there is a way you can sort of by-pass Rogers if Rogers is your service provider. I hope I am not misunderstanding something.

Yeah my V635 comes with AIM. That AOL chat thingy. I'm assuming that it has to connect to the internet and send the messages then which would cost huge money?
What if I'm using Mobile Phone Tools. I noticed that I can set my Internet connection to my LAN connection. Will it then use my ISP to surf the net?
