Motorola V635 or Nokia 6620?

I will be signing up with Rogers and am looking for a phone with bluetooth, mp3 ringtones and a camera. The debate is between the V635 and the Nokia 6620. The price difference is $70CAN. I believe both come with the USB data cables and 32 MB cards. Any comments? Anyone own either of those phones?

If anyone owns the V635 and can let me know if the external display can be customized with a wallpaper, that would be great.

ive just got my v635 5 days ago for 149$ at rogers ...
whit the stock transflash 32mb u can only put 5 mp3s
at future shop they sale the 256mo transflash for 60$ i think u can put 32 mp3s..... not alot and 256 is the biggest size for now for transflash from scandisk

The Motorola phone is much better looking and is much more colorful. However they both have pretty much the same features. The thing that I like about the 6620 is how easy you can change the whole theme. The V635 can be used as a MP3 player too and has better picture quality in pictures.

It was a tough choice for me because I owned a 6620 and well the price difference is $70. I ended up buying the V635 and I really like it. I just wish it was easy to find themes and upload them.

however it depends on what you are really using your phone for, if you want an mp3 buy an mp3. I own the nokia 6620 amazin phone, the biggest seller on this phone is that you can make video' s with sound up to 10 minutes long !!!! also the screen is configured to receive mobile video, rogers in ottawa is bring mobile tv out soon, so you can watch the 6pm news on the bus going home. There are not that many phone that can pick up live streaming tv/video, one thing to think about video is becoming more accessable every day. Also the 6620 is a tough phone i have dropped it a few times and not had it damaged, as for the bluetooth tech the max range on the 6620 is about 20 feet, however on the net there is a site where you can use the 6620 as a universal tv remote also.

it really depends on what u need, a smartphone w s60 os or just a normal phone w an mp3 player

if u dont know what series 60 is, dont get the 6620 get teh v635... u'll just be wasting the 6620's capabilities haha... there are tons of apps out there for the 6620, ranging from bluetooth remote controls to full screen video players to snes emulators

In the end I got a good price on the S710a (I know, didnt ask about it here ). It's big, but it has all the features I want and is a slider

6620! Its a smart phone, other is not. Features are not same as one poster posted. PDA phone vs a phone with mp3 player. You can play mp3s on 6620 as well along with watch full movies on it and use it as a PDA with lots of goodies.
