Hey peeps: Here is the scoop on rogers double charging for certain web applications. Downloading ringtones from rogers you pay twice for each download however it is broken down this way: they charge you for the ringtone usually $1.50 - $2.00 and then they charge you $0.05 per kb for the pages accessed to get the ring tone so your ring tones can cost up to $5.00 each. DOWNLOAD FROM PC NOT FROM CELL SAVE BIG $$$$$$$$$$

Totally agree. Get data cable or Bluetooth dongle to transfer ringtones to your phones! Its not worth it anymore. $5 WAP on Bellus rocks!

congratulations on figuring that one out. your title is incorrect though. They are not double charging you. Technically it's a fair pricing schedule. You are accessing WAP. You are navigating through several pages to d/l your specific ringtone. So IMHO, the charges are not "scamming" in nature.
Now I do agree however, that a smart person, downloads all the awesome ringtones they want. Uses MPT to customize their own mp3s (which is fully integrated into MPT now: even video and image and audio) So...yes, buy a good quality USB cable. and reap the benefits of FREE FREE FREE software/games/ringtones/vidz/image transfer.
