    is it just me
or wasn't it like only 5 years ago where you could call rogers customer help and leave the phone off the hook, drive to buffalo, and come back and you were still on hold

i think customer care has gotten much much better recently
    thoughts?

    What customeer service?

When I ordered two phones on the family plan I was given a mail in certificate for a free DVD player. I mailed it in and waited two months. After numerous calls to the mailin centre I was told that I should be talking to the dealer where I got the phones as they were now handling it. I went back to the dealer and handed in my paper work and was told they would investigate and call me. Never did. Did same procedure again and guess what? They never called me. Then a Rogers sales person called me to sell me some other service. I gave her an earfull but did she try and resolve my problem. Of course not. So we have just ordered new phones from Bell.http://cellphoneforums.net/newreply....te=1&p=950897#

Customer help? Can you really call it that? Most of the reps I get when I call for help are dumber than paste.

I called to find out how to get my phone unlocked. I went through 3 reps, 3 different answers.

The first one said it would cost me $250.00.
The 2nd said they couldn't do it, I'd have to get it done by the carrier I wanted to switch to.
The 3rd one said the info she had said it could be done, but no info on how to do it.

And I've been lied to twice by Rogers reps.

Last April I called to find out how much it would cost to use my phone in the US. I was told it was the same rates as if I were in Canada. I was also told that since my husband and I are on a family plan, as in Canada, calls between our phones while I was in the US would be free.

When I got back from 6 weeks in the US, I had a $600 phone bill from all the long distance and roaming fees. Almost $2 per minute for every call, including the ones between mine and my husband's phones. When I called Rogers to get credit for the misinformation, I had to finally get a manager on the phone before they would agree to credit only half the charges.

The 2nd lie was in September when I wanted to use the internet on my phone. The rep I talked to told me the package I bought for $12 would give me unlimited internet at no charge, and I would just be charged for any downloads. She neglected to tell me that each time I access a page on the internet it was considered downloading that page. I got full credit for that one.

Try Toronto Unlock for unlocking Rogers phones. I'm a rogers sales rep and that's where I send my phones.
