Accidently I brought my phone from South korea and many of you guys know all Korean phones are CDMA. However, just last day I discovered, while changing the battery, that there was a Sim card slot. I did some researching and found out that they used the Sim card slot for Banking system. I was wondering, if I put roger or Fido Sim card into the slot, would the phone work here?

Re: SIM Card?
No unfortunately it would not.
It is most likely actually a R-UIM slot, not an actual SIM slot.
R-UIM is the CDMA equivalent of SIM cards, unfortunately no North American CDMA carriers use them.
Regardless since the technology of the phone itself is completely different than that of our GSM phones there is absolutely no way to make it work.
