I accidentaly did something to my PIN and got locked, then I got a PUK request screen where I kept guessing it because at the time I didnt know what it meant because Rogers, being the great provider that it is, didn't explain what all these passwords are to me (I obviously didn't read the manual..didn't think it was necessary, although I'm feeling idiotic for that now)
Now it gives me the screen:

    PUK Disabled
    Card Blocked

I went to a Rogers provider AND called Rogers itself and they both told me that I need a new SIM

I know that its most likely true but is there any PC software that can bypass this, I've been to these forums for about a week now and I'm thinking if i have to look around somewhere, this is a pretty good place to start

    Thank you

    Re: Rogers SIM Lock

I don't think there is anyway to bypass the PUK lock. If there was, that would mean that the whole SIM/PUK security is useless, and it would make it very easy for thieves too. Getting a new SIM is not too drastical either. You may loose some data saved on your SIM, and in the worst case you will need to get a new number.
