I have owned this phone for a few months (about 4), and I miss my old v60i (which unfortunately died a horrible death). I would like to trade my color-screen T730 for a new/mint v60i or mint v60s for Verizon Wireless service (I really would like the speakerphone option, and would appreciate it if all of the original accessories are included since I'm including so much with this one in trade - see below).

This Motorola T730 clam-shell dual band/tri-mode (AMPS 800, CMDA 800/1900) cellular telephone is in excellent condition with a mint interior (the screen is protected with a plastic cover… I cut out palm pilot screen protectors to exactly match the screen). The exterior of the phone is flawless (and the good thing about changeable faceplates… your phone always looks new). The phone functions perfectly in all respects, and has had the best reception (this side of my old Motorola v60i) of all of the phones that I’ve ever used. I don’t need the bells and whistles (color screen, Get It Now, etc.) that this one offers, and there is less than 30 hours of usage on the lifetime timer.

You’re probably looking at the pics and saying to yourself, “That looks an awful lot like a T720, rather than a T730.” First off, great powers of observation. Kudos to you. I bought an OEM T720 housing set and replaced the front lens cover, back cover, and faceplates so that my T730 would look like a T20. I never liked the two-tone color scheme or larger lens cover that the T730 has. I guarantee you, this is a T730. I have the original box to prove it and if you look behind the battery, it says that the phone is a T730. To address the software problems that this model is sometimes known for… I have never had a single problem (the firmware is up-to-date). I’ve used this phone for the past few months and put it through its paces with messaging, web browsing, and downloading from Get It Now®, and I’ve never encountered a single glitch or freeze. Hell, I’ll leave the custom backgrounds that I’ve made and downloaded to the phone (about 14 of them) and one ringer (Pachelbel's Cannon in D).

This phone is guaranteed to power up, complete and test call to *611, and everything will be reset. The security and access codes have been changed and will be included in the box. I’m including all of the original accessories (box and manual, belt holster, home AC charger, and welcome CD). I’m also including the remainder of the OEM T720 housing with the T730 parts that I removed (the OEM silver & blue faceplate and lens cover), an additional OEM T730 faceplate (silver & red), an OEM T720 indigo blue faceplate, an OEM leather case, and an aftermarket clear holster-style belt clip (better than the OEM version because it is more stream-lined, making the entire package thinner on your waist).

I consistently get about 3 hours of talk time with this phone and about 3-4 days stand-by. I'm just looking to get a v60 series phone back, preferably with the speaker phone option.
