I have been on the hunt for a new cellphone... the V551 to be exact. I just found this forum a few minutes ago and thought I would post here.

Want a NEW IN BOX Motorola V551, With the battery, home charger and manual included. I need it for AT&T or to be unlocked for use with all GSM carriers. .. I hope to find it for under 175.00 (total price shipping included), but may accept any resonable offer thats alittle above this, feel free to e-mail me or post offer offer in this thread. Um... Cingular bought AT&T..I have a motorola C333/330 w/ everything, but thats not what ur looking for...

Yes im aware they bought AT&T. But im still under the AT&T (Blue) Contract and wont migrate to Cingular (Orange). Thats why I need the phone either unlocked for all GSM networks or locked for AT&T as my Sim card will not work wiht Cingular phones.. just like there sims wont work for AT&T phones.

I have a Cingular Motorola V551 that I just received from Cingular on Tuesday of this week. It was a replacement for a V551 that I bought in December of 2004. The first phone only got 2 days on a battery charge and less if you spent any time on calls. The one I have now (three days old) has just now had the new battery charged for the first time. I let it go completely dead to the point of the phone shutting off and charged the battery last night. This, short battery life, seems to be a big problem with V551. See the other posts in the forum. But I am willing to sell mine if you are interested. E-mail me at [email protected] and we can talk about it.
