Dima26,
you received an offer for your phone? An that was a message or email?
Maybe our administrators should disable that user and block his IP to protect our members. I recently was a victim of exactly that kind of an offer.

that scam is off ebay where they try to bs you about the embasy, whoever falls for that is stupid. Those are the most non professional e-mails ever. They try to make it look professional, but by doing so, they ruin the scam, therfore, that is a weak scam,.

Oops, MotoFan, I understand your question now. The original message by JohnCarry was deleted by moderator, I guess.

ok, thanks. I was stupid enough to fall for it. First experience, luckily it was for an item worth #20. So I was not burnt.

Phone with the change is an old scam. But the guy also gave a fedex # and it cost me nothing to ship. Obviously the MO from western union or bidpay never came.
BTW, fedex was of no help in stopping the shipment. I went to the store where I had sent it from, called their customer service, gave all details of the fraud, but they could not stop it being delivered. Very sad, what if someone shipped out dangerous stuff, fedex still would not be able to stop or help! I guess fedex would rather make its 5 bucks than care about fraud.

Sorry about your loss, MotoFan. But as you said, it is better to get wiser after losing 20 dollars than more.
