WTT: Unlocked Motorola e398

I am looking to trade my e398 for something different. I would conservatively rate the overall condition easily at 80%. It has some light wear consistent with use, but nothing that prevents the phone from functioning flawlessly.

Phone comes with:
box
book
USB cable
Motorola software cdrom
TransFlash card and card reader

I will also include a travel charger as well as an additional blue housing that I have not gotten around to putting on the phone. Phone has been unlocked, but is unaltered other than that.

Looking to trade up or down, for something with the following criteria:

Bar form factor
Memory Slot
Bluetooth

I prefer to deal with someone already in USA to avoid shipping/customs issues, but not a drop dead deal breaker. I have tons of online references, and photos are available upon request. Deals are welcome in person if you happen to be in Michigan, otherwise you must be willing to ship.

I already sent the money for this phone. Hopefully, I will get this by next week. I will keep everyone else posted about this guy.

Like I have repeatedly told you, your phone will ship when your check clears. If you had followed my directions, and NOT sent a personal check you would already have your phone....I don't think you will find any other user here who finds it unreasonable that I am waiting till the check clears to send the phone.

Hey man, just letting you know, I ain't bad mouthing bout you or anything. It wasn't my intent to so calm down. Second, my sister has bank of america and it said that you already cashed the check. That's why I'm over here wonderin what's taking so long. She can go log in right now and even get a photo copy of the check.

Just because you can cash a check does not make it good, It can still bounce back as being bad. Scammers do it all the time, Not saying anyone is a scammer. Just offering up some info....

My sister said they already took the money outta her account. So I'm guessing that he got it that's all.

it might have just appeared that way. banks will 'take' the money out to see if there are funds to cover it. kinda like a 'pre-transaction' to make everything run smooth.

but if he suggested payment in another way, i would reserve the accusations until you find out for sure.

I feel you. I told him the day I shipped it out, I was gonna go just get a money order done and stuff. My sister offered to just write out a check for me, so I just had her do it.

For the other members on here: I don't want you guys thinking I was bad mouthing him. He's a good guy, keeps in contact bout it with me and stuff. Def would do business with him again.

fyi, your first post makes it sound like you are suspicious towards this guy. i would avoid putting out info like that, as it can be damaging to his reputation. especially since he keeps in contact with you.

checks are so iffy. if i had my way, they'd be eliminated from our lives.
