gmail issues on samsung galaxy s

I have a samsung galaxy s and on a t-moble plan. I'm logged into my gmail app currently. I am having trouble logging into my gmail from a computer. It keeps saying incorrect login/password. the phone is currently logged in but i cant figure out how to change the password so that i can log in on the computer also. any help would be appreciated.

I would just change the password from gmail.com in a browser and then change it on your phone as well so everything is the same.
