Hi,
I have a samsung galaxy s2 and the imei number has disappeared from the phone. I have the number on the box and i was just wondering can anyone help me on how to rewrite it back onto my phone? I have no service without the imei. I have been researching online but cant find anything that works! any help will be greatly appreciated! thank you

I dont know!! someone told be a file could have become corrupted when i got the phone unlocked but i dont know if thats what actually happened or not! can it even be fixed?

ah, you didn't say you got it unlocked Yes, a file in the system registry could have been overwritten or corrupt.
You might need to do this: [HOW-TO][FIX] Repair your IMEI with QPST - updated w/ info - xda-developers

That seems really good but instead of Ports (COM & LPT), it just says other devices and when i expand it, it says 0019329f71606e and SAMSUNG_Android and they are both unrecognized or something. It says i need to update the drivers? How do i fix this?!
