Qualcomm sticker on top of Galaxy SIII

On my Galaxy SIII (model SGH-i747M) there is a Qualcomm sticker - very small. Does this have any significance?

Yeah they all do. It just saying that the processor is made by Qualcomm, which is a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon, to be specific.

Sounds impressive. And I just noticed....right next to the word Qualcomm it says 4G. I'm assuming that's significant, too.

So...now it seems all I have to do is get a USB cable/charger setup and a nanoSIM card and I'll be good to go. Oh..and I guess I should upgrade the firmware from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2.

Yep, just means it has the 4g data antenna as most new phones do.

Once you get a sim you should be able to update the software by going to menu > settings > about phone > software update.
