auto correct and copy paste no longer work with latest update

I recently received an update for my Samsung Galaxy. I wish I had never installed it! I've had to practically go back to the old way of typing, and almost have to ***** out every single word. It also doesn't let me copy and paste anymore!

Really? The inability to copy and paste is such an inconvenience. Which OS version is it?

I tried to roll my update back, but the copy and paste still doesn't work.
