1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Then tap WatchOn -> touch Select your country/region -> select the desired country from the list -> then enter your zip code -> tap Done.
  3. Next, you need to select your television provider from the list.
  4. In case you’re asked to confirm reception of specific channels, tap Yes or No, as necessary, or tap Not now if you’d rather skip this step.
  5. You can also personalize your favorite channels. To do so tap Personalize or to skip this step, tap Skip.
  6. Now you can tap Sign in if you want to add a Netfix account to WatchOn, or tap Cancel to skip this step.
  7. Read the Samsung disclaimer and if you agree, tap Agree.
  8. Your TV guide has been configured.
  9. To configure WatchOn as a remote control for your set top box, television or another device, tap the Remote Control icon located at the top right corner of the screen.
  10. Then tap Set up now -> select the desired brand of television or if that particular manufacturer is not listed, tap Show other brands and select the desired one.
  11. Now make sure the television is turned off -> then tap Power.
  12. If the text was successful, touch Yes, this code works, otherwise, if the test wasn’t successful and the television didn’t turn on, tap No, test the next code -> repeat this process until the test is successful.
  13. You may see some instructions to fine tune the remote control -> follow the on-screen instructions. You may also be required to press another button and repeat the same process until the correct code is found for your Cable/Satellite box, TV or Sound System.
  14. Then tap the Remote Control icon located at the top right corner of the screen.
  15. WatchOn has been successfully configured to control your TV.
  16. With the help of the on-screen buttons you can now control the functions of your different hardware.
