  1. Turn off your SGS4. To turn off your device completely, itís best to remove and then reinsert its battery.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up button -> then press and hold the Home key.
  3. Keep these two buttons pressed simultaneously and then press and hold the Power key and keep all three buttons pressed until you see the Recovering Booting message appear at the top left corner of the screen and the Samsung Galaxy S4 logo.
  4. Scroll to wipe data/factory reset by pressing the Volume Down button.
