Setting Up an Email Account:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap the "Menu" button on your device
  2. Tap "Settings" > "Add account" > "Email"
  3. Type in your email address and the password associated with it, then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup

Deleting an Email Account:

  1. While viewing a home screen, tap the "All apps" icon
  2. Select "Email" in the apps drawer
  3. Tap the "Menu" key on your device
  4. Tap "Settings" and press the icon depicted as a trash can
  5. Select the email account(s) that you wish to delete, then tap "Delete"

Synchronizing Email Accounts:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "All apps" icon
  2. Tap "Email"
  3. Press the "Sync" icon

Sending an Email:

  1. Open the apps drawer and tap "Email"
  2. Assuming that you have multiple email accounts set up on your device, select the one that you wish to send the email from
  3. Tap the "Compose" icon depicted as a pen and paper
  4. Tap the recipient field and enter the desired email address
  5. Enter the desired subject and then type in your message in the email body field
  6. To attach a file to your email, tap the "Attach" icon then browse and select the desired files.
  7. You can find additional options for your email by pressing the "Menu" key
  8. When ready, tap "Send"

Gmail Management

Setting Up Gmail:

  1. If you haven't set up your Gmail account yet, open up "Gmail" in the apps drawer
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to sign in with an existing account, or create a new one

Note: to add an additional Gmail account, press the "Menu" key and tap "Accounts"

Syncing your Gmail Account:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap the "all apps" icon
  2. Open "Gmail"
  3. Tap the "Sync" icon

Sending a Gmail:

  1. Open the "Gmail" app
  2. Tap the "Compose" icon
  3. Enter the email address of the recipient
  4. Type in a subject in the "Subject" field and enter your message in the email body field
  5. To access additional options, press the "Menu" key on your device
  6. When ready, tap "Send" to send your email
