i have had my samsung s4 for about 4 months now,
since i have had this it has had the samsung case with the window screen at the front in this, now after about a month my battery swelled up very large,, and it was dropping calls all the time i took it into samsung repair centre in my local town centre, they said calls are fine, but battery needs replacing and my com port did too, now when i got it back it looked good, then after a week it started dropping calls again, even halfway through conversations, now i contacted samsung again, they said contact my local shop who i got the contract for the fone with, i then went into my fone contract company which is o2, they said its the manufactorers fault contact samsung, so this has been going on for 4 months now, i then today took my children to school, then pulled my fone out of my pocket, and the samsung case had fell of, and my fone dropped out of the case, with 2 dints in the top of the fone, so i rang samsung saying there case is faulty and it has damage my fone, they said well if it is damaged, it is out of warranty, i said it was your case that caused this, they just dont want to know, so my advice to anyone with a samsung fone is, be careful, and never get one again, they want fix it or replace it, even if it is there fault, SAMSUNG= IDIOTS AND RIPPING OFF PEOPLE

Wait, they replaced the 'com port'? Do you mean the charging/data port? What caused that to break?

If you're getting really bad reception when you're getting good reception on another phone on the same service in the same area then something is wrong with the phone. If two phones on the same service are getting bad reception in the same area then it's the service. Have you tried resetting the phone so it reconnects to your local towers? Either way this doesn't sound like Samsung's fault.
