Transferring contacts from an iPhone to the Note 3 might seem like a difficult task, but that's not really the case. By following one of the guides below, you'll be able to easily transfer your iPhone contacts to your Samsung "phablet".

Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts from the iPhone:

  1. On your computer, launch iTunes. (If it's not installed, go to the official Apple website and download the client)
  2. Connect your iPhone to your computer using the proprietary USB cable
  3. After your iPhone appears in iTunes, click it to open the handset's summary page
  4. Go to the "Info" tab
  5. Mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box and select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu
  6. If you haven't performed these steps before, enter your Google account's log in credentials. Otherwise, click "Configure" and select a previously added Google account
  7. Click "Apply"
  8. Allow iTunes to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account
  9. On the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, log in with the previously used Google account if you haven't done so already. If you need to add the account, go to the "Settings" menu and tap "Accounts"
  10. Allow your Google account to sync the contacts with your Note 3

Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts from the iPhone:

  1. On your PC, use your Internet browser to access www.icloud.com
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click "Contacts"
  4. Select the contact(s) that you wish to transfer
  5. Click the icon depicting a cog wheel, located at the lower-left corner
  6. Select "Export vCard"
  7. After downloading the VCF file, import it to "Google Contacts"
  8. Alternatively, connect your Note 3 to your PC and copy the VCF file to your phone's "/sdcard" folder. Then, open the "Contacts" app on your smartphone, press the "Menu" button, tap "Import / Export" and select to import from SD card

Using the "My Contacts Backup" app to Transfer Contacts from the iPhone:

  1. On your iPhone, download and install the "My Contacts Backup" from the App Store
  2. Launch the application and tap "Backup"
  3. After the backup process is finished, tap "Email"
  4. Send an email containing the VCF attachment with your Gmail account as the recipient
  5. On your Galaxy Note 3, open the email containing the VCF file and download it on your phone to import the contacts

Using the "Bump" Application to Transfer Contacts from the iPhone:

NOTE: in order to be able and transfer contacts from your iPhone to the Note 3 using "Bump", you'll need an active Internet connection on both smartphones.

  1. Install the "Bump" app on your iPhone from the App Store
  2. On your Note 3, access the Play Store and download > install the "Bump" app
  3. Open the application on both smartphones
  4. On your iPhone, go to the "Contacts" section
  5. Select the contacts that you wish to share
  6. When the "Bump now!" message appears in the top-right corner, gently bump your devices together
  7. Press the "Connect" button
  8. A copy of the previously selected contacts will be sent to your Samsung Galaxy Note 3
