Using iTunes to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

iTunes is a great sync tool that allows you to synchronize your iPhone contacts with your Google account. This makes it very easy to grab the contacts and import them onto your Galaxy Grand Neo. For this method you need a computer with iTunes installed.

  1. Launch iTunes on your computer
  2. Use the proprietary USB cable to connect your iPhone to your computer
  3. The iPhone should appear in iTunes. Click it to open its summary page
  4. Go to the "Info" tab
  5. Mark the check box associated with "Sync Contacts With". Then, select "Google Contacts" form the drop-down menu
  6. Enter your Google account and password if you haven't done so before. Otherwise, you can click "Configure" and select a previously added Google account
  7. Click "Apply" and iTunes will sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account
  8. Switch over to your Grand Neo and register the same account if necessary. (To add an account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts")
  9. Allow Google to sync the contacts with your Samsung device

Using iCloud to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

Assuming that you've used the iCloud backup service before, then your iPhone contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. You can easily import the contacts to your Grand Neo by doing the following:

  1. Use your computer's Internet browser to visit https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Log in with your iCloud account
  3. Click "Contacts" and select the desired contacts from the list
  4. Next, click the button depicting a cog wheel (located in the bottom-left area)
  5. Select "Export vCard" and allow your computer to download the resulting VCF file
  6. Import the VCF file to "Google Contacts". Alternatively, skip this step and perform the following instead:
  7. Connect your Grand Neo to your computer using the USB cable, and copy the VCF file to your phone's "sdcard" directory. Next, open the "Contacts" application, press "Menu", tap "Import / Export" > "Import from SD card". Select a target account and choose the VCF file to import the contacts

Using the "My Contacts Backup" Application:

"My Contacts Backup" is a clever iOS app that allows you to share your iPhone contacts via email. To use this method you won't need access to a computer.

  1. Use your iPhone to visit the App Store and download "My Contacts Backup"
  2. Open the application and tap "Backup". This will create a VCF file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Next up, tap "Email" to create a new email containing the VCF file as an attachment
  4. Enter your own Gmail address as the recipient, and send the email
  5. Switch over to the Grand Neo, and open the email. Download the VCF file to import the contacts through the "Contacts" application

Using the "Bump" Application:

"Bump" is another application that can help you to transfer contacts from your iPhone to the Grand Neo. It uses cloud connectivity in order to achieve this, so there's no need for a computer. However, you do need an active data connection on both smartphones.

  1. Visit the App Store via your iPhone and download "Bump"
  2. On the Grand Neo, visit the Play Store and download the same application
  3. Launch Bump on both smartphones. If prompted, allow permissions
  4. Pick up the iPhone and swipe to the contacts section
  5. From the list of contacts, select those that you want to share
  6. When the "Bump Now!" message appears in the top-right area of the screen, gently bump your smartphones together
  7. If done properly, a "Connect" button will appear on the display of both smartphones
  8. Tap "Connect" and a copy of your iPhone contacts will be shared with your Grand Neo
