which phone is this with? You have to make sure both your phone and car support the phone book access (PBA) bluetooth profile.

Well, your phone and the Elantra both have the PBA profiles. See here: https://www.hyundaiusa.com/BlueTooth/index.aspx

Try removing the phone from your car and then re-pairing it. Look on the phone for a message (may appear in the notification bar) allowing the car to download your contacts. You may have accidentally disallowed them from transferring on the initial pairing.
