Blocking Calls from a Phone Number:

  1. Press the "Menu" button while on the home screen
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Access the "My device" tab
  4. Tap "Call" > "Call rejection" > "Auto reject list"
  5. Tap "Create"
  6. Perform one of the following sets of steps:
    • To block a contact from the phonebook:
      1. Tap the "Contacts" icon and then tap "Contacts" twice
      2. Select to open "Just Once" or "Always"
      3. Select the contact that you wish to block
      4. Tap "Save"
    • To block a number from the call logs:
      1. Tap the "Contacts" icon
      2. Select "Logs"
      3. Tap the number that you want to reject
      4. Tap "Save"
    • To block a new number:
      1. Type in the number that you want to reject
      2. Make sure you have enabled the "Exactly the same as" feature. Otherwise, you can tap "Match criteria" to change the blocking criteria. For instance, selecting "Starts with" allows you to block all numbers from a particular area code
      3. Tap "Save"

Unblocking a Number:

  1. Press "Menu" while on a home screen
  2. Tap "Settings" and tap the "My device" tab
  3. Touch "Call" > "Call rejection" > "Auto reject list"
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • To allow calls but keep the number in the blocking list: clear the check box associated with the desired number (Don't tap the number itself)
    • To allow calls and remove the number from the list:
      1. Touch the icon depicting a "Trash can"
      2. Select the desired phone number
      3. Tap "Delete", and tap "Delete" a second time to confirm

Blocking Calls Using Third Party Apps:

While the Ace 3 offers blocking features by default, you can use various third party applications to block calls as well. Most apps (such as "Call Blocker", "Call Blacklist" and "Call Control") come with a wide range of blocking features, logs, the ability to password protect the app and more.
