Transferring Contacts via "Send Anywhere":

Send Anywhere is a third party application that works on both iOS and Android. The app can be used to transfer contacts and various other types of files from one phone to another, even cross-platform. It uses a peer-2-peer connection, so you don't need access to a computer in order to perform this method of transfer:

  1. Launch the Google Play Store and install "Send Anywhere" on both smartphones
  2. Open the application once has been installed
  3. On the Galaxy Star, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
  4. Mark the contacts that you want to share and tap "Send"
  5. Lastly, choose a method of contact transfer. You can tap "Receive" on the Galaxy Star 2 and enter the randomly generated transfer code from the Galaxy Star in order to commence the transfer. You can also tap "Generate QR Code" on the Star, and then scan the code with the Star 2's camera to begin the transfer
