Using iTunes:

NOTE: If you have iTunes installed on your computer, you can use the app to sync the contacts stored on your iPhone with your Google account. Then, you can transfer the contacts over to the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime by re-syncing the contacts, as explained below (keep in mind that this method requires a computer with Internet access):

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect your iPhone to the computer using the proprietary USB cable
  3. Once connected, the iPhone will appear in iTunes
  4. Go to the iPhone's summary page and click the "Info" tab
  5. Mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
  6. Select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down list
  7. Add the Google account you wish to sync with in iTunes. In case you've added one prior to following this guide, you can click "Configure" and select it from the list
  8. Click "Apply" to start the syncing process
  9. After the contacts have been synced, register the same account on the Samsung device, and allow it to sync contacts with it

Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case you have used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone in the past, then the contacts stored on your device should have been already backed up to your iCloud account. By accessing your iCloud account via a computer with Internet access, you can export these contacts for use on an Android device:

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click "Contacts"
  4. Select the contacts you want to export
  5. Click the cog wheel button and select "Export vCard"
  6. Wait for the computer to download the VCF file, and then import the file to "Google Contacts". Alternatively, skip this step and connect the Grand Prime to your computer via USB, then transfer the vCard file to the phone's storage. Next, launch the "Contacts" app, press "menu" > "Settings" > "Contacts" > "Import / Export" and follow any additional steps to complete the process

Using "My Contacts Backup":

NOTE: In case you're looking for methods of contact transfer that don't require access to a computer, then you can rely on third party applications such as "My Contacts Backup". This is an iOS app that can be used to back up the contacts on your iPhone, after which the backup can be sent over to another device via email:

  1. Visit the App Store and download "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
  2. Launch the application and then tap "Backup"
  3. After the backup file is created, tap "Email" to start a new email with the vCard file attached to it
  4. Send the email to your Gmail address
  5. Switch to the Galaxy Grand Prime and open the email containing the vCard file
  6. Download the vCard and import its contents using the "Contacts" application and the "Import" function

Using "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: Send Anywhere is yet another third party application for both iOS and Android, which can be used to transfer contacts cross-platform via a P2P connection (no computer access required).

  1. Visit the App Store and install "Send Anywhere" on your iPhone
  2. Download the application on the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, via the Google Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both handsets
  4. Tap "Send" on the iPhone, and select "Contacts"
  5. Mark the contacts you wish to share and tap "Send"
  6. Select the transfer method. Tapping "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone will generate a code which can be scanned with the Galaxy Grand Prime's camera to commence the contact transfer. You can also tap "Receive" on the Samsung smartphone, and enter the transfer code from the iPhone
