Call Blocking

Block Calls From a Phone Number or Based on Match Criteria:

  1. Tap "Phone" while viewing the home screen
  2. From the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen, press "Menu"
  3. Tap "Settings" > "Call" > "call rejection" > "Auto reject list"
  4. Tap "Create" followed by the "Contacts" icon
  5. Enter the phone number you wish to block
  6. Select a match criteria option. NOTE: Default is "Exactly the same as". Using other options like "Starts with" allows you to block calls from a certain area code or network
  7. Tap "Save"

Blocking Calls from Logs or Contacts:

  1. Follow steps 1 through 4 described in the guide above
  2. Tap "Logs" or "Contacts"
    • To block a number from a call log, select it and tap "Save"
    • To block a contact, tap the desired contact and tap "Save"

Unblocking a Phone Number:

  1. Launch the "Phone" application
  2. Access the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen
  3. Tap "Menu" > "Settings" > "Call" > "Call rejection"
  4. Tap "Auto reject list"
  5. To allow calls from a blocked number but keep the number on the blocking list, clear the check boxes associated with the desired phone number
  6. To allow calls and remove the number from the blocking list:
    • Tap the "Trash can" icon
    • Select the check box associated with the desired number
    • Tap "Done"

Message Blocking

Block Messages via the Settings Menu:

  1. Tap the "Messages" icon while on the home screen
  2. Tap the "Menu" button and go to "Settings"
  3. Mark the "Spam filter" check box
  4. Tap "Add to spam numbers"
  5. Tap "+" and manually enter the number you wish to block messages from. Alternatively, select a contact from the list to block
  6. When ready, tap "Save"

Unblocking Messages via the Settings Menu:

  1. Launch the "Messages" application
  2. Tap the "Menu" button and select "Settings"
  3. Mark the "Spam filter" check box and tap "Add to spam numbers"
  4. Tap and hold the number you want to unblock
  5. Tap "Delete" > "OK"

Call Forwarding

Forward All Calls (Unconditional Forwarding):

  1. Launch the "Phone" app and go to the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen
  2. Tap the "Menu" icon and go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "Call" and select "Additional Settings"
  4. Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
  5. Enter the phone number you want to forward your calls to
  6. Tap "Turn on"

Forward Some Calls Only (Conditional Forwarding):

  1. Tap "Phone" while on a home screen
  2. Press "Menu" while viewing the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen
  3. Go to "Settings" > "Call" > "Additional settings"
  4. Tap "Call forwarding" and select to:
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  5. Type the phone number you want to forward the calls to
  6. Tap "Update"

Cancel Call Forwarding:

  1. Tap "Phone" from the home screen
  2. Go to the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen and tap "Menu"
  3. Access "Settings"
  4. Tap "Call" > "Additional settings" > "Call forwarding"
  5. Tap "Always forward" > "Turn off"

Manage the Call Log

Viewing the Call Log:

  1. Launch the "Phone" app from the home screen
  2. Access the "Logs" tab to view the call logs
  3. To see more details about a particular call log, tap it

Resetting the Call Log:

  1. Launch the "Phone" app
  2. Go to the "Logs" tab and tap "Menu"
  3. Tap "Delete" > "Select all"
  4. Tap "Done" > "OK"
