Call Blocking

Block Calls:

  1. Press "Menu" while viewing the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Access the "My Device" tab and tap "Call"
  4. Tap "Call rejection"
  5. Make sure "Auto reject numbers" is enabled
  6. Tap "Auto reject list" > "Create"
  7. Perform one of the following:
    • To block a contact:
      1. Tap "Contacts"
      2. Tap "Contacts" two more times
      3. Select "Always" or "Just once"
      4. Select the contact you want to block and tap "Save"
    • To block a number from the call logs:
      1. Tap "Contacts" > "Logs"
      2. Select the number you want to reject
      3. Tap "Save"
    • To block a phone number:
      1. Enter the number you want to block
      2. Optional: Tap "match criteria" and select the desired option. For example, enabling "Starts with" will block all the phone numbers from a certain area code / network etc. Otherwise enable "Exactly the same as"
      3. Tap "Save"

Unblock Numbers:

  1. Press "Menu" on the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Access the "My device" tab
  4. Tap "Call" > "Call rejection"
  5. Tap "Auto reject list" and perform one of the following:
    • To allow calls but keep the number in the block list: clear the "Check box" next to the desired number (but NOT the number itself)
    • To allow calls and remove the number from the blocking list:
      1. Tap the "Trash can" icon
      2. Mark the check box next to the desired phone number
      3. Tap "Delete" twice to confirm

Message Blocking

Block Messages:

  1. Launch "Messaging"
  2. Tap and hold the conversation thread from the number you wish to block
  3. Tap "Add to spam numbers"
  4. Tap "OK"

Block Messages from Settings:

  1. Launch "Messaging"
  2. Press "Menu" > "Settings"
  3. Enable "Spam settings" if necessary
  4. Tap "Add to spam numbers"
  5. Tap the "+" button and enter the desired phone number manually. Otherwise tap "Contacts" and select an existing contact from the phonebook
  6. Tap "Save"

Unblock Messages:

  1. Press "Messaging" on the home screen
  2. Tap and hold the conversation thread containing the blocked number
  3. Tap "Remove from spam numbers"

Unblock Messages from Settings:

  1. Launch "Messaging" and press "Menu"
  2. Tap "Settings" and enable "Spam settings"
  3. Tap "Add to spam numbers"
  4. Tap and hold the number you wish to unblock and tap "Delete"
  5. Tap "OK" to confirm

Call Forwarding

Forward All Calls:

  1. Press "Menu" on the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Access the "My Device" tab and tap "Call"
  4. Tap "Additional settings" > "Call forwarding"
  5. Tap "Always forward"
  6. Enter the phone number to forward calls to
  7. Tap "Enable"

Forward Certain Calls Only (Conditional Forwarding):

  1. Go to the phone's "Settings" menu
  2. From the "My device" tab tap "Call"
  3. Tap "Additional settings" > "Call forwarding"
  4. Select to "Forward when busy", "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when unreachable"
  5. Enter the phone number to forward calls to and tap "Update"

Cancel Call Forwarding:

  1. Press "Menu" on the home screen and go to "Settings"
  2. Tap "My device" > "Call" > "Additional settings"
  3. Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
  4. Tap "Disable"
