    Via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with a Google account. Then you can transfer the contacts to the Galaxy A8 by syncing the Google account with your Android phone.

    1. Open iTunes on the computer
    2. Connect the iPhone via USB
    3. In iTunes, click the iPhone to view its summary page
    4. Go to the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With
    5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one if available
    7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync. Once done, register the same Google account on the Galaxy A8 and allow it to sync contacts with your device

    Via iCloud:

NOTE: If you have used iCloud backup before, your iPhone contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. You can access it on a computer with Internet access, and export the contacts for Android use.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account
    4. Click “Contacts” and select the ones you want to share
    5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
    6. After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, import it to “Google Contacts” or alternatively:
    7. Connect the Samsung Galaxy A8 to the computer via USB, transfer the VCF file to the phone’s memory, and use the “Contacts” app and the “Import” function to add the VCF file’s contents to your phonebook

    Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Another way to transfer contacts without needing a computer is by using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer your iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone from the App Store
    2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard file with your contacts
    3. Tap “Email”, and compose a new mail with the vCard attached
    4. Send the email to your own address
    5. Switch to the Galaxy A8 and open the email, then download the attached file
    6. Import the vCard file using the “Contacts” application

    Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is a third party app for iOS and Android that uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other types of files, even cross-platform.

    1. Launch the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Install the app on the Galaxy A8 via the Google Play Store
    3. Open the app on both devices
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    5. Choose the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
    6. Select a method of transfer. Tapping “Receive” on the Galaxy A8 allows you to enter the randomly generated code from the iPhone to begin the transfer. You can also tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone to scan the code with the Samsung phone’s camera and begin the transfer

Re: Transfer Contacts from an iPhone to the Samsung Galaxy A8

Samsung Galaxy A8 is popular due to its lightness and functions. If you have bought a new Galaxy A8 and want to transfer the contacts from iPhone to Samsung Galaxy A8, you can handle it with the help of Mobile Transfer which is also useful in moving messages, call logs, photos, videos, and so on.
