Forward All Calls (Unconditional Forwarding):
- Tap “Menu” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Under the “My device” tab, tap “Call”
- Tap “Additional settings”
- Tap “Call forwarding” > “Always forward”
- Enter the phone number you want to forward calls and tap “Enable”
Forward Some Calls (Conditional Forwarding):
- Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Access the “My device” tab
- Tap “Call” > “Additional settings”
- Tap “Call forwarding”
- Select to “Forward when busy”, “Forward when unanswered” or “Forward when unreachable”
- Enter the phone number to forward calls to
- Tap “Update”
Cancel Call Forwarding:
- Press “Menu” on the home screen
- Tap “Settings”
- Access the “My device” tab
- Tap “Call” > “Additional settings”
- Tap “Call forwarding” > “Always forward”
- Tap “Disable”
Block Calls from a Number:
- Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Access the “My device” tab
- Tap “Call” > “Call rejection”
- Make sure “auto reject numbers” is enabled
- Tap “Auto reject list” > “Create”
- Perform one of the following:
- To block a contact:
- Tap the “Contacts” icon
- Tap “Contacts” again and choose “Always” or “Just once”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Save”
- To block a number from Call Logs:
- Tap “Contacts” > “Logs”
- Tap the number you want to block
- Tap “Save”
- To block a phone number:
- Enter the phone number you want to reject
- Tap “Match criteria” and select “Exactly the same as”. Optionally, select “Starts with” or a different option to block numbers from a network, or area code etc.
- Tap “Save”
- To block a contact:
Unblock Phone Numbers:
- Press “Menu” on the home screens
- Tap “Settings”
- Under “My device”, tap “Call”
- Tap “Call rejection” > “Auto reject list”
- Perform one of the following:
- To allow calls but keep the number in the block list: Tap the check box associated with the desired number
- To allow calls and remove the number from the block list:
- Tap the “trash can” icon
- Tap the check box next to the “phone number”
- Tap “Delete” twice to confirm
Block Messages
Via “Messaging”:
- Launch the “Messaging” app
- Tap and hold the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number you want to block
- Tap “Add to spam numbers” > “OK”
Via “Settings”:
- Launch “Messaging”
- Press “Menu”
- Tap “Settings”
- Enable the “Spam settings” check box
- Tap “Add to spam numbers” > “+”
- Enter the phone number you want to block or tap “Contacts” and select a contact from the list
- Tap “Save”
Unblock Messages
Via “Messaging”:
- Tap “Messaging” on the home screen
- Tap and hold the conversation thread containing the number you want to block
- Tap “Remove from spam numbers”
Via “Settings”:
- Launch “Messaging”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Enable “Spam settings”
- Tap “Add to spam numbers”
- Tap and hold the number you want to unblock
- Tap “Delete” > “OK”
