Enable Data Usage:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Swipe to “Network Connections”
- Tap “Data usage”
- Tap the “Mobile Data” switch to enable the feature
Enable Data Usage Limit:
- Go to “Settings”
- Under “Network Connections”, tap “Data usage”
- Ensure “Mobile Data” is enabled
- Check the box next to “Limit mobile data usage”
- Tap “OK”
- Drag the “red” horizontal line on the graph up or down to set a limit
- To set a data usage warning, drag the “orange” horizontal bar on the graph up or down (must be below the red line)
NOTE: When data usage reaches the orange bar, you will receive a warning. When data usage reaches the amount set by the red bar, mobile data will be automatically disabled.
View Data Usage by Application:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Launch “Settings”
- Swipe to “Network Connections” and tap “Data usage”
- If necessary, tap the “Data usage cycle” field to select a time period for seeing data usage. You can also drag the “white” bars to adjust the time period
- Scroll down to view data usage by application (largest to smallest)
