    Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Galaxy On5.

    1. Open iTunes on the computer
    2. Connect your iPhone to the PC via USB
    3. Once connected, click the iPhone to view the summary page
    4. Access the “Info” tab and turn on “Sync Contacts With
    5. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts
    6. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account if available
    7. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to complete
    8. Once done, switch to the Galaxy On5, register the same Google account, and allow it to sync contacts with your smartphone

    Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case you’ve used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone, your contacts should already be backed up on your iCloud account. By accessing the account on a computer connected to the Internet, you can export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

    1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click “Contacts
    4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings
    5. Click “Export vCard” and wait for the file to be downloaded on the computer
    6. Once done, import the file to “Google Contacts” or, skip this step and instead:
    7. Connect the Galaxy On5 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard file to the phone storage, and import the file’s contents using the “Contacts” app

    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The methods above require access to a computer with an active Internet connection, but you can also transfer your contacts using third party apps instead. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer your iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
    2. Launch the application and tap “Backup
    3. After the backup file is created, tap “Email
    4. Send the email containing the vCard backup file as an attachment, to your own address
    5. Switch on the Galaxy On5 and open the email to download the attached file
    6. Import the file’s contents using the “Contacts” application

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Last but not least, you can use Send Anywhere – another third party app for iOS and Android, which uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other types of files from one phone to another (cross platform too).

    1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Visit Google Play Store and install the app on the Galaxy on5
    3. Open the app on both devices
    4. Tap “Send” on the iPhone, and tap “Contacts
    5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
    6. Finally, select a transfer method. Tapping “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone allows you to start the transfer by scanning the code with the Galaxy On5’s camera. You can also tap “Receive” on the Samsung device, and enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
