Back Up App Data:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Access “Settings” and scroll to “Personal”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Enable “Back up my data” to back up account data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account
- Enable “Automatic restore” to allow data to be automatically restored upon reinstalling apps
Back Up Contacts:
- Open the apps drawer and go to “Settings”
- Tap “Accounts”
- Select the account you want to sync contacts with
- Tap “More” > “Sync now”
Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:
- Access the “Settings” menu
- Tap “Applications” under “Device”
- Tap “Contacts” > “Import / Export contacts”
- Tap “Export” > “SD card”
- Before tapping “OK” to confirm the export, make sure you remember the backup file’s name for future use
Media File Backup
Back Up Media Files Using the Phone:
- Make sure an SD card is installed on your phone
- Open the apps drawer and launch “My Files”
- Tap “Device storage” under “Local storage”
- Tap “More” > “Edit”
- Locate the desired media files / folders, and mark the check boxes associated with them
- Tap “More” > “Copy” > “SD card”
- If necessary, navigate to the desired folder or tap “Create Folder”
- Tap “Paste here”
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the J3 and computer
- Swipe the “status” bar down on the phone, and make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
- On the computer, open an Explorer window and locate the media files on your phone
- Copy the desired files and transfer them in the desired backup location on your computer
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the phone from the USB connector
Back Up Media Files Using a Mac:
NOTE: If Samsung Kies is already installed on your Mac, you should skip the first 3 steps below.
- Open the Internet explorer on the Mac and visit Kies Support
- Click “Kies 3 for Mac” to download the app
- On the Mac, open the downloaded .dmg file and follow the on-screen steps to install Kies
- Connect the Galaxy J3 to your computer via USB
- Swipe the “Status” bar down and make sure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
- Launch Kies on the Mac, and click the “Back up / restore” tab
- Click the “Backup” tab and place a check mark next to “Music”, “Photos”, and other media file types you wish to back up
- Click “Backup” and wait for the process to complete
- Once done, eject the phone storage by dragging its virtual drive into the “Trash can”, and safely disconnect the device from the USB

can not accept an incoming call. It rings & i try to answer it but button don't work.
