Clear App Cache / Data:

NOTE: If one of your apps crashes, freezes, doesn’t work as intended or takes up more storage than it should, you might be able to fix these problems by clearing the app’s cache / data.

  2. Launch “Settings
  3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Applications
  4. Tap “Application Manager
  5. Swipe to “Downloaded” or “All
  6. Select the desired application and tap “Clear cache

Wipe the Cache Partition:

NOTE: If your smartphone doesn’t work as intended, freezes, crashes or runs out of storage inexplicably and you’re considering factory resetting it, you may want to try fixing these issues by clearing the phone’s cache partition. 1. Turn off the phone if necessary
  2. Press and hold “Volume Up”, “Home” and “Power” at the same time
  3. At the “Samsung” logo, release “Power
  4. At the “Android” logo, release the other two hardware buttons and wait to gain aces sot the Recovery menu (this can take up to 1 minute)
  5. Once in the Android System Recovery menu, press “Volume down” repeatedly to highlight “Wipe Cache Partition
  6. Press “Power” to select the highlighted option
  7. Once the cache partition is wiped, “Reboot system now” should be highlighted
  8. Press “Power” again to confirm and restart your phone
