How-to: Samsung Galaxy C7: Manage Contacts & Caller Groups; Reset the Call Log

Create Contact:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap “Create”
3. Select to store the contact on the “Device”, “SIM card”, or to sync it with your “Google” account
4. Enter the contact’s name, phone number, and personal details in the appropriate fields
5. When ready, tap “Save”

Import / Export Contacts:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Tap “More” > “Settings”
3. Tap “Import / Export contacts”
4. Choose to “Import” or “Export contacts”
5. Perform one of the steps below:
   
   • When importing contacts: select the contact location and tap to import on “Device”
   • When exporting contacts: choose a destination, tap the desired contact and tap “OK”

Assign a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
2. Tap “More”
3. Access “Speed dial”
4. Tap a speed dial number to use
5. Select the contact you want to link with the speed dial number
6. Tap “Back” to apply the changes

Deleting Contacts:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap the desired contact
3. Tap “More”
4. Tap “Delete” two times to confirm and remove the contact

Clear the Call Log:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Access the “Logs” tab
3. Tap a call log entry to view more details
4. To reset the call log, tap “More” in the “Logs” screen
5. Tap “Settings” > “Edit”
6. Check “All” and tap “Delete” to confirm and clear the call log

Create a Caller Group via Contact:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Select the desired contact
3. Tap “Edit” > “Groups”
4. Tap “Create group”
5. Enter the group’s name and tap “Create”
6. Tap “Back” and press “Save”

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Select the desired contact
3. Tap “Edit” > “Groups”
4. Select the desired group to add the contact
5. Tap “Back” > “Save” to confirm
